I have been really busy the past few days.  Last week, Miss Jennifer at daycare wrote a note to Mommy and Daddy telling them that I pull myself up and stand at the shelves next to the play mat.  I must really be doing well because my birthday twin, Alice can't even crawl yet! It's so much fun to be able to move around and try new things.  I've been having to find places to pull myself up at home.  My green bouncy chair has been a perfect place for me to pull up, unfortunately its in the corner, and after I get to my standing position, I don't know what to do, so I'm stuck standing there and Mommy or Daddy have to come save me so I don't fall onto the floor.  Today the chair got taken away because Mommy found me after I climbed into it and stood up and started bouncing.  Oops! 

Otherwise, Im continuing to crawl, make more noises and smile. I know that when I smile, it makes people melt :)  Its beautiful weather this weekend - hopefully we get to go for a walk tomorrow, especially since I got stuck inside all day today while Daddy spread mulch around all the plants outside.

I had a WONDERFUL Easter weekend!  We just got home today from our trip to Pennsylvania to see Grammie and Grandpa and I can't wait to tell all about my first Easter!  The weekend started on Thursday when Mommy, Daddy and I got on an airplane - AGAIN, I know I have traveled SOOOO much!  We got to Pennsylvania so fast I don't even know what happened.  It was nice to get there so fast, we made time to visit the school where Mommy and Daddy met.  We took pictures at the Lion Shrine, then we drove to Grammie and Grandpa's house.

The weekend was relaxing for the most part, especially because it was rainy outside.  I spent most of the time practicing my crawl and learning how to stand.  By the end of the weekend, I could just about lift myself up to my feet using the couch for support!  Mommy and Daddy say they don't want me to grow up so fast, but I can't help trying so many new things!  On Saturday, we got to color Easter eggs!  There were eggs everywhere, and so many different colors.  I got to color my eggs yellow and they came out looking beautiful.  Although Daddy had to help me I think I did a really good job.  Unfortunately, I could not try my eggs either because I'm not old enough.  I guess I'll just have to wait until next year.
On Easter morning, the Easter bunny had come to visit!  I don't know how the bunny found me all the way in Pennsylvania, but there were lots of gifts for me!  I had so much fun opening up my gifts.  After gifts, later in the afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt!  There were colorful eggs all over, and I was crawling all over the place to find them!  There were things inside of the eggs that I could shake every time I found a new one!  It was great fun, everybody was having a good time!

Easter dinner was nice too - actually every meal was nice.  I got to sit in the high chair that Daddy used to use when he was a baby and I did such a good job eating, especially when Grammie fed me!  Even though everyone has started to figure out the apples make me gassy, its okay because it makes everyone giggle! The weekend went by so fast though, we were back on an airplane again and all of a sudden we were home again.  It was a great Easter!

Playdate and Tornados

On Friday, Mommy and I drove in the car to a new place I had never visited before.  She had been telling me we were going on a playdate, but I had never been on one before so I didn't know what that was.  When we arrived at the house, there was another baby there named Addelyn.  She was a little older than me, but we had a tea party together, ate lunch together and then went to the park to swing.  While we were swinging another baby named Gwen came to join us.  Gwen was really good at swinging - hopefully I can figure out how to do that!  We spent some time on the slide which was really fun and then we all got thirsty so we went back to the house and hung out for a little longer.  It was a fun play date and I hope we get to do it again soon!
Yesterday was a CRAZY day!  There was a very big thunderstorm outside and Mommy and Daddy said that there was a tornado that went really close to our house.  Mommy was holding me tight during the storm, but we didn't know until afterwards how really close the tornado was!  I'm glad that we were all safe and I hope all the other babies out there weren't frightened by the storm and stayed safe too!
Today Mommy was sick so we spent some time at home together.  Mommy was looking in my mouth and found that I have not one, not two, but THREE teeth coming out on the top of my mouth!  Two front teeth and one to the right of them!  I have been drooling a lot recently and making fish face because its so weird feeling extra teeth in my mouth!  The weather was beautiful today, Im sad that we couldn't go out for a walk, but Mommy needs her rest so that she can get better for our Easter trip.  We did go out for a little bit in the afternoon, and Mommy was kicking all of the fallen pinecones off the driveway and I got such a kick out of that!  It was hilarious.  Every time Mommy kicked a cone she said, "Kick!".  How funny that was!!!

I can't wait until this weekend - I get to see Grammie and Grandpa and there is this mysterious Easter bunny I keep hearing about.....

Today after work we went as a family into the backyard and Daddy hung a swing for me!  The weather was so beautiful, so I was really excited to spend some time outside.  Watching Daddy hang the swing and all the crawling at daycare today made me exhausted, I could barely finish my bottle before bed.  I look forward to swinging more this spring!

Weekend In Action

This weekend I spent most of my time perfecting my crawl and exploring every possible nook and cranny in the house.  I have been waiting for months to do this!!!  Although Mommy and Daddy spend a lot of time chasing after me when I get into things Im not supposed to touch, they are very nice to let me explore most places and learn what different objects are around the house.
This morning, Mommy felt my upper gums and found the tooth that had been bothering me for a while...this is my third official tooth!  Im excited to get more teeth so I can start to eat something other than mush!!

I Can Crawl!!!

Well it has been a busy week and weekend here.  First off, Mommy left on Wednesday to head across the pond.  It must be a big pond because I heard Mommy and Daddy talking about how long the plane flights would be.  I think the final destination was Norway.  Maybe when I am older I will get to go over there as well.  Since I knew Mommy was leaving I thought I would give her a gift.  I started to crawl!!!!  Mommy was so happy to see it and said I was a brave little girl.

Daddy and I have been busy this weekend.  I kept Daddy on his toes with this crawling thing.  I must say it is so much fun to be able to move around.  Daddy can even sit on the floor and I will crawl over to him.  The good thing for Daddy is it takes me a little bit to get places so he can grab me before I get into trouble.

Well from what Daddy says tomorrow will be a big day.  He said that we will go to the airport and pick up Mommy.  I can't wait to see her and show her all my new tricks.  I hope you enjoy the video of me crawling!!!
