Ice Cream Cones and Cupcakes

"Cupcaaaaake"
Icing is the best part!
Mommy and Daddy know that they shouldn't do it, but they coerce me into eating my dinner by telling me that I will get some sort of treat. Well, that has resulted in a fair amount of cookies, cupcakes and on one special occasion an ice cream cone. For Mommy's birthday, Daddy made cupcakes and I certainly enjoyed those. I always eat the icing off the top first because that is my favorite part! One random evening, Mommy decided to celebrate Adam's newest milestone of clapping by going out for ice cream. This was my first ever ice cream cone and although the weather didn't seem like ice cream cone weather, I still enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much it took me FOREVER to eat it! By the end, I sort of got the hang of licking the ice cream although it was nice that Daddy helped me by spooning it out for me.

Waving goodbye to Daddy in the morning.
I've been practicing my letters of the alphabet recently. Mommy bought me Cheez-Its with letters on them to help me learn. I think I've gotten all of them until I see a Q - then I am stumped. Sooner or later I'll get it.
Other than that, I am continuing to help around the house. I enjoy wiping off tables and chairs with paper towels, throwing individual pieces of toilet paper into the toilet after "blowing my nose", identifying puddles of Adam's spit up on the floor, helping Mommy vacuum, and my most favorite, Swiffering the floors. Sometimes I take it upon myself to clean for Mommy so I go into the laundry room and get it on my own. When Daddy asks me what I am doing, I say, "There's too many crumbs on the floor."

To All You Fans

Since my Vanna routine has started, my fan club has been sending me some pretty spectacular dresses to wear. I have been enjoying them during Wheel of Fortune, although they are fun all day long. Posing for the camera has become one of my new favorite past times.

Many exciting things have happened in the past week! To start, Ms Elaine and Mr Mike across the street had a tree cut down on Tuesday! Early in the morning a bunch of big trucks came, and there were men with orange hats. One of the trucks had a crane and they used the crane to make the tree fly over the house! It was so  much fun to watch - it kept me entertained all morning! Then, Daddy and I made cookies over the weekend! I had fun helping him, but I have to be very careful when I bake cookies. I do not want to get dirty!

Obsessions

Cora Marie and Lil'A posing!
Since I have become so good at talking recently (I can form full sentences now) I talk all the time. Sometimes I talk so much at the dinner table I forget to eat! I talk to everybody I see, whether I make sense at all because I like to think that my happiness is contagious. When Mommy and I went to the grocery store it seemed like the cashier was having a bad day. I just kept talking to her and handing her groceries and by the time we left she was smiling!
With all of my talking, I do become obsessed with things. On the way home from the grocery store, we went by two lakes - one of which had a big fountain that I love to see. All night and the next morning I kept talking about two waters.  I continued by talking about how Daddy is not going in the water, Mommy is not going in the water, Adam is not going in the water and Cora is not going in the water. The water goes in the sky. Don't swim in yellow water, don't swim in blue water.... I can't help all the talking, I just love to talk!
Adam and I have been having so much fun lately playing together. He screams a lot for no apparent reason, so it gives me an excuse to scream too. If he starts it, then I don't get in trouble! Thank you Adam!!!

Last week, Grammie sent me a new friend in the mail - Mother Goose!!! Baby Sara has gone to the wayside and now its all about Mother Goose! Mother Goose tells me nursery rhymes (I especially like Twinkle Twinkle because she bee bops up and down) and I enjoy having her around the house with me. She watches me go to the bathroom, rides in the stroller, sits at the table when I eat lunch and snuggles with me and Daddy on the couch.
