Coronation Day!

Today was Coronation Day at Elsa and Anna's Winter Wonderland! I got to dress up as Elsa and visit with THE Anna and Elsa! There were a lot of other girls there too - all dressed up too. We read a story first, then got to do some fun crafts. After the crafts I waited to be personally crowned by Elsa! I am so glad that Mommy took me for a special day with my favorite princesses! Plus, as a special treat we got to watch Frozen the night before because it was a ugly day outside, cold and rainy!

A Fishing Trip!

No more fishing with sticks! I've been waiting for a nice day ever since we got our fishing rods to test the out at the pond. Daddy was home on Monday for a holiday so we took advantage of the nice weather outside and walked over to the pond for some fishing fun! Having never cast a fishing rod before, I think I did a pretty good job! Sometimes I got frustrated because it was hard to know exactly when to let the button go, but hopefully we will go back many times so I can keep practicing. I am pretty coordinated so it will come easy with some practice. Speaking of coordination, I am doing well with the building logs we got for Christmas. I like to build houses and Adam likes to "crash" them. In addition to houses, I can build bridges to drive our cars on. Adam crashes those too. He usually goes everywhere I go, says everything I say and does what I do. We don't mind spending time with each other for the most part.

Looking at picture books in my room.

Enjoying mornings with Daddy!

Indoor Activities

It's been cold, rainy and ugly outside recently, so bad that school has been cancelled two days this week!! That leaves plenty of time for us to do indoor activities. Adam and I spend a good bit of time acting goofy around the house, but thankfully Mommy signed me up for KidzFit classes at the gym. I love going to my class! We do all sorts of fun activities, and everyday is different.
To break things up a bit, the other day we went over to the neighbor's house to play and I got to hold baby Anna! I did such a good job, she didn't even cry!!

Happy New Year!

Christmas all over again!
It's 2015! This year we rang in the new year from Pennsylvania at Grammie and Gramps' house! I had been asking in the weeks leading up to our trip how long it would be, and despite the fact that I did ask quite often how much longer it would be until we would get there, the trip in the car didn't seem so long. When we arrived, we had Christmas all over again! There were lots of presents to open from Grammie and Gramps! I got a tablet - the one I asked Santa to bring me - plus clothes, money (a wallet) and some great stocking stuffers! In addition to having Christmas right when we arrived, soon after we celebrated New Years. Grammie gave Adam and me some noise makers that my Great Grandfather Pupo used to use on New Years Eve and we walked around the house yelling, "Happy New Year!"

The weather in Pennsylvania was cold! We didn't venture outside all that much, but we had lots of fun activities inside like movies, decorating cookies, coloring, puzzles. The day after New Years we got to go to camp! At camp it was warm enough to get outside for rides in the side by side, standing by the fire, filling the bird feeders, drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows, running around and visiting my favorite horses up the road, Miss Sweets and Chesty. Chesty came up to see us, but didn't get close enough for me to pet her. She must have been having a bad day. At least I got to pet Miss Sweets - she was being so friendly it almost scared me!
Chesty and Miss Sweets ran up through the field to see us!
When we first arrived at camp we were warming up inside. In all the busyness of bringing stuff inside and settling down I asked Grammie if Adam and I could go outside. She said sure we could go outside. Before any of the adults realized it, Adam and I had put our shoes on and ran outside to be by the fire. Once, Daddy realized that we weren't inside, he checked outside to find Adam and I warming ourselves (without hats and coats) by the fire. We had a yummy dinner at camp then headed home. Thankfully we had great, sunny weather at camp because the next day it was rainy and cold so we stayed warm inside. We had a short visit from Uncle Matt, Nicole and Connor during the day, but otherwise we just played with our new toys and spent time with Grammie and Gramps. Then, before I knew it, it was time to go home. What a great way to start the new year!
