Airplanes

Recently whenever I hear an airplane outside or see one flying in the sky I say, "Airplane."  As the sound fades away, I typically say, "Bye, bye airplane."  Since I like airplanes so much, this morning Mommy suggested that we go to the airport and watch the airplanes take off and land.  I had SUCH a fun time watching the planes!  Hopefully we get to do that again!
I have also been practicing my two word phrases.  Adam cry, raining outside, diaper gross are a few of my choice phrases right now.  I'll keep up the hard work on learning new words and phrases!

Blueberry Season!

Looking for the perfect berry to pick and EAT!

This past Sunday, we went back to the farm to pick more blueberries!  We would have picked blackberries too, but they weren't ripe yet.  The blueberries were really ripe! I could stand at one bush and just eat and eat and eat!  I can't say that I put a whole lot of berries into Mommy's bucket because I was too busy eating!

I have been very helpful around the house.  Recently, I know what to do with my dirty diapers.  When I'm done getting changed, I take the diaper and put it into the diaper bin.  I also put my dirty clothes into the laundry hamper and I've almost gotten the hang of putting on my pajamas all by myself!  Mommy and Daddy are very busy these days and I help out as much as I can. I also like to push Adam when he is in his swing, although its not often.  I play with the swing more than he is in it because I like to push the button to make the music go on and off.  
I got some new sandals the other weekend too!  They are really nice because they are easy to put on and off and my feet don't sweat very much. 

BABY!

For so long it seems like I was kissing Mommy's belly saying hi to some baby, but now I have a real baby to kiss!  On Saturday, May 26 I awoke to see Miss Cathy.  Mommy and Daddy weren't there.  I spent a fun day with Miss Cathy. We went for walks, played with my new blocks and I even taught myself how to get in and out of my high chair on my own!  When the evening came, Daddy came home and ate dinner with me.  After dinner we went to the hospital where we saw Mommy and my new baby brother Adam!  Even though it was boring being at the hospital because there wasn't much to do, I tried to be on my best behavior.  That night, Daddy and I had to leave Mommy and the new baby so we could go to bed.  Luckily, the next morning we went back to see them again and there was a present waiting for me.  I got a new baby named Maya!  I love her so much. 

Although it was a long weekend of back and forth, it was worth it, now I have someone besides Mommy and Daddy to bother at home.  I get frustrated sometimes that I can't play with Adam like I do with my baby dolls, but he is fragile.  I have learned the word gentle.  As long as I am gentle, I am allowed to touch Adam's feet and legs and kiss his head.  Even with the new baby at home, I still get to go to school and be with my friends during the day.  Its been hard for me to fall asleep at daycare on some days, but for the most part, I'm still very well behaved.

One day when I got home from school, there was another surprise waiting for me.  The coffee table was moved out of the family room and in its place was my very own table and chairs.  Now I can eat my snacks, color, read, play with the chairs and play with my babies on the table.  I have to say, getting a new brother has had its perks for me - I have gotten a lot of great new things!
