A Real Bicycle Ride!

This past week after dropping off Adam at school, Mommy and I had a girls' day! Under clear skies and comfortable temperatures, we went for a bicycle ride. This wasn't just any ride - Mommy actually rode her green bike next to me! We got to ride fast and go really far! I had so much fun I didn't notice how tired I got from it!
Not sure what I did, but on Saturday morning my ankle hurt when I woke up. It was hard to walk on, was black and blue and swelled a little bit. Daddy took really good care of me. We watched movies together while icing my foot and he bandaged it so I could go to a party in the afternoon at the other Cora's house. Daddy did such a good job, I was running and jumping on it by the next day!

Vacation to PA Part II

The safari week continued all the way into the Forth of July! After a great fireworks show on Thursday night observed from Grammie and Gramps roof, we had a day of fun at camp! We played games, drove the side by side, went on a safari, ate a yummy picnic dinner, had a safari ice cream cake! After dinner we walked up the road to visit some horses! It was so fun. We called them and they came running to us so we could pet them. I named the horses Miss Sweets and Chesty! It was very pretty in the mountains, but it was also cold! We had so much fun for the holiday, we had to take the day after to relax, which we did!

Relaxation for me is a visit to a cool playground though! There's a big wooden playground near Grammie and Gramps house within walking distance. I loved running around the playground and exploring all the castles! I had such a fun holiday at Grammie and Gramps house! I will need a week to recover from all the activities we did during our visit!

Vacation to PA Part I

We have only been on vacation for three days and I have so far been having a great time! This week is safari week at Grammie and Gramps house! All of our fun activities revolve around safari and animals. I couldn't be happier! We do so much during the days, I am exhausted at night!

So far, we have done so many things, I hope I don't forget to mention any of it! I've gotten to take Maggie for a walk, we've fished, blew bubbles and played with balls in the backyard. We have played safari card games, colored animal masks, visited the Elk Visitor's Center (elk aren't scary at all and it's elk, not milk Adam!). We've gone for walks to the market around the corner to buy treats, had movie night, played with monster trucks, baked blackberry pies, and my most favorite thing thus far is the horse ride we went on yesterday!!! Before Mommy and Grammie could even get out of the car I had run into the horse's pen to start my ride! I started out on a pony named Sparky, which was fun, but on my second ride I got to ride Chase, a big horse! I was not afraid at all, and in fact I think I could have ridden the horse all afternoon!!! After our horseback adventure, we went out to eat at Farmer's Inn, got to see some more animals and enjoyed some ice cream! I am having so much fun, I can't imagine what the rest of the week has to offer!
