Happy Easter!

It was another great Easter! What made it wonderful is we got to share it with Grammie and Gramps! They drove all the way from North Carolina to be celebrate the weekend with us!











This Easter was filled with all of the regularly fun activities which I of coarse loved, but there were a few notable things that made it a special holiday:
1) The Easter Bunny brought me a bicycle!!!!
2) I made Bunny Bread with Grammie.
3) Mommy made delicious hot cross buns.
4) Gramps is fun to talk to - he says some funny words!

5) Daddy did a great job teaching me how to ride my new bicycle!

Catch of the Week Round 2

It was my turn again for "Catch of the Week" at school this week. This time, I showed off my drawing skills and the teachers hung up a picture of my self portrait along with words that I used to describe myself. Although I had a bit of coaching, I think my portrait came out very well. I also got to bring in my favorite book from home for the teacher to read to my friends! They all loved Diary of a Worm!
Spring is in full swing. Pollen is everywhere, but most importantly, the flower and trees are in bloom! Adam and I went to visit the daffodils that we planted in the fall and they were blooming!

An Easter Egg Hunt!

This weekend was the neighborhood Easter egg hunt! Aside from the Easter bunny freaking me out right as the hunt started, I had a great time. The whole family walked along the greenway to the big park, and when we got to the park, we got cookies and lemonade before the big hunt! I had fun hool-a-hooping, swinging and opening the eggs with all the goodies. Maybe next time we hunt for eggs, the Easter bunny won't fright me before we start. That way I will get many more eggs! Can't wait for Easter!
