Summer Activities

Although we are still spending a lot of time inside because its hot out, Mommy showed me how to shuck corn the other day so that Daddy and I could have corn on the cob.  I enjoyed sorting the corn for her.  I thought that the silky hair coming out the top of the corn was gross though.  Luckily, Mommy didn't find any surprise worms hiding in the corn either.

I am starting to get better with Adam.  Sometimes if he is crying I bring him Mr Lion Head to make him feel better.  The other day, I shared my toys with him and I think he liked it!  He is more fun to be around now than he used to be.  At least he looks at me and tries to touch me when I kiss him on the head!

Summer Heat

Summer is here and it is HOT outside!  It's so hot out we have to do a lot of indoor activities.  Sometimes all I want to do is run around outside, but it's so hot its not safe!  I have been spending a lot of time entertaining Adam.  I try to be as gentle as possible if I touch him, but my favorite thing still is to kiss him.  
The other day at the dinner table Daddy got the hiccups so I learned the word hiccups.  The very next day, both Adam and I got the hiccups at the same time.  I like to say hiccups!  Other than that, I just keep reading my books (I've started to read them to Mommy and Daddy I know them so well) and I have lots of blocks to play with on my table.  

One of my very favorite things is when I get home from daycare, after I have had my juice, Mommy and I share a snack!  We have the best time eating it together!  I also really like to read my books before bed with Adam, so whoever is holding Adam before bedtime gets to hold me too while we read my book!!
