Snow Day After Snow Day....

It has been FOREVER since I have been to school. It's like Christmas break all over again in February! I went to school for 3 hours last week and there was no school this week at all!! I got a cold too (which was nice I didn't have to miss any school) but thankfully I was feeling better for the BIG SNOW - 6" of wet snow! We had a nice walk on the greenway and we built snowmen. I named mine Olaf and gave him a big hug! It's exciting to wake up to snow, but I would like to wake up one of these mornings and go to school too!!

Rodeo Time!

I've officially got a rodeo under my belt now! To celebrate Valentine's day, we went out together as a family for a fun evening which included dinner at a restaurant and the rodeo afterwards! I loved the rodeo and my favorite part was the cowgirls riding their horses fast around the barrels! The cowboys had a lot of trouble staying on the bulls, only a few made it all of the 8 seconds! I also enjoyed watching the silly clown acting goofy.
The weather continues to be crazy. One day it's warm and the next its freezing cold. On one cold morning when Daddy was home for the weekend, he let Adam and me drink tea from my tea party set! I love tea, and it was special treat!

Groundhog Day

To celebrate Groundhog Day, we participated in lots of fun activities at school! We colored pictures, cut out shaped, made a puppet and pulled shapes out of sand. I really like my puppet, he's a happy groundhog! We also got some books from Mimi this week too! One of the books she sent was a numbers workbook. I loved it so much I completed it in 3 days!! I am one smart gal!

Calendar Girl

One day last week when it was raining cats and dogs (it was pouring!!) we took an afternoon trip to a special store where Mommy bought me something special for my room. It was a calendar! Little did Mommy know, we had been learning the days of the week and months of the year songs at school. As soon as we hung the calendar, I started singing the songs from school. She also let me write all of the numbers into each day of the month. I love singing, and counting the days of the month - and I sometimes include Adam in the fun. Hopefully he is learning a little bit from me. Even if he doesn't learn from me, I love spending time with him no matter what we are doing. Playing with my tablet, singing together, dancing together, making pizza...
