Ski Girl!

From soccer girl to ski girl! I'm quite the athlete! Our trip to Breckenridge, Colorado was a blast! When we weren't at ski school or playing in the snow, there was plenty going on at the house (Mimi and Papa brought lots of activities for us). We got to see crazy uncle Marcus, Tracie and spend lots of time with Saige. There were lots of highlights from our trip, where do I even start!?!?!
Skiing was the best! I got the hang of it really quickly and was excited that by the end of our second day of ski school, Coach Richie took us up Rip's Ride Chairlift! I skied all the way down the mountain that day! The last day, we went up the chairlift with Coach David 8 times! By the end of the day, I was practically ready to start exploring the rest of the mountain! Ski school was lots of fun though, it was like going to camp. You'd do a little bit of skiing, then you would take a break and get hot chocolate or a snack. Then you'd ski some more and play some games, or get lunch at the ski lodge. It was a great time and I hope to try skiing again soon!
Sledding was a close second to skiing! On the days that we didn't go to ski school, we went to the park in downtown Breckenridge where they had a fast sledding hill! I practically ran up the hill each time to get as many sled rides in as possible! I loved going in the saucer by myself, but I also enjoyed sledding with other Mimi and Papa in the big sled and on one occasion, Dad and I flew over the bank at the end of the hill! Woo hoo!
Another day, we drove up to Hoosier Pass, where we saw beautiful mountains in all directions! Adam and I wanted to take a hike, but Mom and Dad couldn't handle the high altitude! When we needed to go somewhere from the house, we could walk up the road and get on the gondola! We could ride it down to the grocery store, or up to the base of the ski resort where our ski school was. I had no problem getting on and off the gondola! Finally, we got to celebrate the birthday girls - Mom and Mimi during the week! Papa kept us busy decorating for the birthday celebrations, which included a Cars theme of Route 66 for Mimi's birthday.

Soccer Girl!

It may be too early for me to say this, but I think I'm going to be pretty good at soccer. This past weekend I had my first soccer game as a Thunderbird! We won our first game, and best of all, I scored my first goal! Not bad never having even practiced with my team! When I finally met my coach at the first practice he commented that I was really fast! Practice is not my favorite part about soccer; I just prefer to play games. Mom tells me practice is how I get better at soccer, which I love playing so far!

In other news, I completed the third quarter of the school year. Only one quarter left to go! In the meantime we are going to have a great track out!
