Special Babysitters!

The fun kept on rolling after my communion celebration. The day after, Mom and Dad left to go on a trip by themselves, and we got to stay home with Grammie and Gramps! Even though we had school during the day, it didn't stop us from having a blast and doing lots of fun activities and getting to show them all the things I've been doing! Grammie and I painted nails, we played games, made a pizza apple pie, ate breakfast on the porch and Gramps helped me make my own treasure box. I can put whatever I want in it! I'm so happy that they came to take care of us - it was lots of fun!

My First Communion

Today, May 20, 2018 I celebrated my First Holy Communion. It was a memorable experience for me. Fortunately I have been practicing to prepare myself, Mom handing me pieces of cereal or practicing with my friends during recess with a quarter I found on the ground. The practice worked out though because everything went smoothly. Grammie and Gramps arrived on Friday, so they were able to see me, and Mike, Sandy Kaitlyn and Lauren also joined us for my special day. After mass, we all went back to the house and enjoyed spending time with each other around the table eating luncheon and cake. I was given some special gifts, which I enjoyed opening in front of everyone. I am blessed to have a wonderful, loving family.

Season's End

It's hard to believe that my soccer season is already over! I enjoyed playing with the Thunderbirds and I think I have improved my skills. One of the games this season, we only had 4 players on our team. Even without any breaks the entire game, we actually won! And I scored a goal! Before the game Mom told me that if I scored a goal that she would buy me an ice cream. She delivered on that promise and I enjoyed a small ice cream on our way home from the game. Mom can tell that I really love soccer because I'm constantly bugging her to pass the ball or play soccer with me. Hopefully I can continue playing soccer next season!
