Thinking About Spring

Digging a hole for our bulbs
Putting the bulbs in the hole with Daddy
Spring seems to be a common theme these days, even though we haven't even yet made it through fall. I keep asking when I can wear my Elsa pj's: Spring. When will I get to see the bulbs that we planted at Daffodil Days: Spring. What else will I have to wait for?? Luckily the wait was over at school for the fire truck to visit. Not once or twice but three times we were supposed to get a visit and they never came. This time when the fire truck came it was a surprise, but a great surprise none the less. I have taught everybody at home the words and motions to the song. "Stop, Drop and Roll."
Fire Truck visit with my class at school!
Cuddle time with Daddy!

Parties!

Life is a party! This weekend I went to a birthday party, but I have parties all the time, so I'm used to it! I had a great time playing at a new playground during the party! I was able to master all of the climbing and slides there, so Mommy was very proud of me! You wonder why I would say I party all the time?? Well, that's because I do! At least once a week or sometimes a couple times a day I have parties with Adam. These parties usually involve lots of random toys which I collect and put into a big pile around us. We can have  a party anywhere. In my bed, Adam's bed, in the playroom, the clubhouse, the red wagon outside... Then, Adam and I sit at our party and talk, play, draw, read, argue and have a great time!
I guess I could call myself the life of the party...well, okay I'm not crazy but just this week Ms Angela at school sent home a note that said my smile brightens up the classroom and that I love to sing at morning circle. That's certainly something to be proud of, or to celebrate (let's have a party!!!)

Zoo Fun!

Fall is the perfect time for a visit to the North Carolina Zoo! I had a great time at the zoo this past weekend. My favorite live animals were the zebras, lions and grizzly bears. The statue animals were almost just as fun though. Any of the animals that I could climb and sit on, I took the opportunity to do so. The weather could not have been any better to enjoy the entire day walking through the park. The zoo even has a carousel - which we got to ride after our picnic lunch. I got to ride on a wolf, and if I could, I would have ridden the carousel 10 times!
