Our summer vacation to Pennsylvania was just like a carnival, a whirlwind of activities and nothing but fun! We wasted no time getting the fun started before we even got to Grammie and Gramps' house. On the drive to Pennsylvania on Saturday, they met us at Delgrosso's where I had an absolute blast riding rides! My most favorite rides were the swings, Crazy Mouse coaster and the bumper cars. No more kiddie rides for this girlie (although I still road the Dizzy Dinosaur's 4 times). We got to enjoy dinner at the park and rode a few rides before we headed up the road the rest of the way to Grammie and Gramps's house. Although we were exhausted from a great day, it didn't stop us from going on an adventure the following day to the Kinzua Bridge.

The Kinzua bridge is a steel railroad bridge that collapsed when a tornado blew threw the valley in 2003. Now, you can walk across the railroad bridge up to where it collapsed and look down into the valley enjoying the views. After walking on the skywalk, we hiked on a steep trail into the valley below where we could see the bridge from below. When we were done sweating and climbing, we went to visit our great grandparents gravesite in Rasselas on the way home.

On Monday we needed a day to rest and recoup. But that didn't mean we did nothing. I made a list of things we wanted to do which included, painting nails. shopping at Pfaff's, going to the park and playing outside in the wonderfully cool weather. We had to prepare for our overnight trip to camp! On Tuesday afternoon we went to camp where we started having fun immediately. We played badminton, baseball, bocce ball (that's a fun game), rode the side by side, had a picnic, hit Bozo the clown pinata, made smores and released sky lanterns into the starlit sky. Our carnival day at camp was fun! And because we spent the night there, we got to wake up and continue our fun in the morning. After breakfast, we played outside, walked up the road to feed my favorite horses (we had to call to them quite a long time before Miss Sweets trotted across the field to us), made mountain pies for lunch and finished the camp day with a drive up the road on the side by side with Daddy. On our trip we crossed paths with a Wildlife Officer and luckily I had just stopped driving when he saw us otherwise we could have gotten in trouble! Upon returning to the house, we walked downtown to see some very special horses. The Budweiser Clydesdales had come to town and they were pulling a wagon with a Dalmation on top. The horses were so big! I couldn't believe it!

Thursday and Friday we definitely needed some time to relax from all the fun we have been having. It was a fun relaxation though, filled with playing in the yard, going to Memorial park and baking pies with Grammie and Gramps. We visited St Marys Church where I was baptized. I don't remember but it was interested seeing where I was as a baby. On Thursday night we walked downtown to go go the movies! We saw Finding Dory and I had a great time watching the movie while eating soda and popcorn! It was such a great Pennsylvania vacation, I can't believe I have to go back to school next week!
