Daddy and Me

This weekend, Daddy spent most of the time outside dumping wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of mulch around the trees and bushes. Luckily, I was able to help him. Was I ever glad to help too! If it had been up to me, it would take me a whole month to mulch as much as Daddy did. Daddy moved a huge pile. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed my help whatever it was worth.

Another fun routine that I'm really enjoying is going to church with Daddy on Sunday mornings. I love it because 1) I get to wear a pretty dress and show it off to people, 2) there's lots of music and 3) it's just me and Daddy - nothing could get any better than that!

More Ice Cream!

In celebration of our tax refund (I have no clue what that is) which arrived in the mail, we went out for ice cream! This time I dove right into my cone! And this time Mommy was ready with the camera. Although it took me about an hour to eat it, I finished all of it myself and boy did I enjoy it! I love special treats every once and a while :)

The weather is sporadic right now. One day we can go for a walk in my pretty dresses, and the next I have to wear a coat. It's just a tease, especially since I love the fact that now I can actually wear pretty dresses as my outfit and I don't have to wear them over my clothes. Recently I have been taking my purse with me on outings with Mommy and Adam. My phone and keys fit perfectly! Today, the lady at the bank even commented on how cute my purse is - that just means I'm going to have to take it everywhere now!

Spring Fun!

Just as Mommy promised, I got to spend a lot of time outdoors this week enjoying the warm weather. Although we had to dodge the plumes of pollen in the air, luckily none of us have bad allergies so we can still enjoy the spring temperatures. I had a special surprise one evening when Daddy was mowing the lawn, he let me help! I feel like such a big girl!
Playing outside in the backyard is so much fun - I always have a hard time going inside. Now that I have an important job pushing Adam in the swing I get to stay outside longer!

Recent conversation with Mommy while sitting on the couch together:
Me: We need to talk.
Mommy: What do you want to talk about?
Me: The news and the weather.
Maybe this conversation is a sign that I need to spend less time with adults and more time with kids my age.

Look Dad, I'm Reading Too!

With all of the excitement of Easter last week, we laid low this week and didn't do a whole lot - the weather wasn't all that great anyways. Next week will hopefully be lots of fun - wagon rides with Adam and pushing him in the swing!!!

Easter Fun!

Presents!!!

This year was a great 3rd Easter for me! Although it was rainy outside, I still had a great time with all of the festivities. Coloring Easter eggs on Good Friday was fun because this year I actually got to help by dropping (not throwing) the eggs into the coloring cups! Mommy also made hot cross buns or just "buns" for me to eat also! Boy, did I enjoy those buns!
On Easter Sunday, we woke up and went to church. It was poring outside, but I still enjoyed myself and behaved. When we got home, we saw presents that the Easter bunny had brought us! I love getting presents! I woke up from naptime later in the day and a bunch of eggs had been hidden around the house - and the eggs had pennies in them too! But, I think the best thing of all about Easter was, I got to wear my pretty dress ALL DAY LONG!!!!



The day after Easter, we had a special visit from Kaitlyn, Lauren, Uncle Mike and Aunt Sandy! It was so fun seeing them. I especially had a great time playing dolls with Lauren - she really knows how to take care of her baby dolls!
