I survived, practically enjoyed Survivor Week this year! A splendid trip to visit Grammie and Gramps was loads of fun filled activities. It all began on the stop at Delgrosso's Amusement Park on our way. The beautiful, almost cool weather was perfect for the rides - and did I ever ride. This year I did all the rides from last year, but added some more like the Pirate Ship and Rock Star! The Mouse is still lots of fun, but I would have to say that the Pirate Ship was my favorite. The first ride I started in the middle, and by the third time I was on it Grammie and I sat in the very back! Woohoo! It was a great pit stop as always. After dinner we headed the rest of the way to St Marys.

After spending a day with Grammie and Gramps in St Marys, we packed up and got ready for camp. Let the Survivor Games begin!! Grammie had a whole list of games for us to do, I enjoyed each and every one! Plus, in between games, I perfected my corn hole game! Matt, Nicole and Connor joined us later in the evening for a picnic dinner and a few more games, including a piƱata, until nightfall when we enjoyed a campfire and released sky lanterns. Luckily we got to spend the night and the next morning, we continued our games with a scavenger hunt and enjoyed time by the river and on the side by side before wrapping up with mountain pies for lunch.

The fun did not stop at camp though. The day after returning to St Marys, Grammie had planned a special activity for me - horseback riding! She and Mom took me out to a nearby farm where I got my very own lesson and rode all by myself! After preparing my horse, Phaedora, I guided her around posts, over a short bridge and across rails on the ground. Then, before it was time to go, I had a short ride outside. It was such a nice treat!

We enjoyed other activities around the house, like puzzles, ConnectFour, baking blueberry pie and coloring to relax when we weren't out doing something. My favorite thing of all during our trip was PlayLand at Memorial Park! That place is so much fun, I darted around all the towers and went across the monkey bars at least 15 times! Such a fun place! We also took a drive back to Kinzua Bridge to check out the museum there and go back out on the skywalk. This year is was really windy there, so we got the full experience 192ft in the air! We concluded our trip with an amazing fireworks show on July 3rd. After a water gun fight in the backyard to cool off, we showered, watched a movie, then walked down the street where we watched beautiful fireworks explode over the hillside. It was a perfect ending to a great trip; I can't believe I go back to school in a few short days!
